Want to ride a bike? South Dennis has the privilege of providing the beginning of the Cape Cod Rail Trail, a paved and maintained biking and walking trail through the mid, lower and outer Cape. It begins in South Dennis off Route 134 across form Mid Cape Home Center.
South Dennis Village is the home of John Kelley Recreation Area, providing tennis courts; filed hockey, soccer and softball fields; walking trails, including Braille trail; and basketball courts for all to enjoy. Indian Lands conservation Area and the Tony Kent Ice Arena are also located in South Dennis.
Follins Pond provides a lovely area for small boats, along with its own beaches. Kelly’s Pond is home to another major marina which deserves a visit. And then there is Patriot Square, which provides shopping galore for all your needs.
